YCAC New Horizons Exhibit
It is an exciting time at YCAC. Much is happening to make us more visible and successful in fulfilling our mission to the area community. Soon we will be moving into our new, yet historic, building on Main Street with a unique and bigger gallery, an office, and a more suitable workshop space. Plans are in place for more innovative uses of our Sunny Point location. We are looking forward to a brilliant and creative new future.
As a celebration of YCAC’s new era, we are planning an exhibit called NEW HORIZONS that will focus on our artists’ recent inventive, groundbreaking, unusual, and experimental art. We challenge all our artists to exhibit their new work that falls in this category. Have you done something different from your usual work? Experimented with a new medium? Tried a new technique? Can you create something that depicts our theme? These pieces will be our featured art works. An area for your traditional work will also be available.
CALL FOR ART: New Horizons is an exhibit for all YCAC artists. We invite you to bring in your art works on Monday morning, April 11, 2011 for this moving exhibit. The reception for this show will be Friday, April 15 from 5-7 PM.
So if you accept this challenge, get your creative juices going and enjoy a time of experimental merriment.
