CCC's Muse of Fire Theatre to present Camelot


Idealism, romance, chivalry, magic, and betrayal will take the stage at Corning Community College’s Science Amphitheatre on the Spencer Hill campus this spring as Muse of Fire Theatre presents the Lerner and Lowe musical Camelot on Thursday, April 28 through Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, May 1 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for members of the public and $5 for students and seniors 65+. The cast features James McFeaters as ‘King Arthur,’ Anna Wheaton as ‘Queen Guenevere,’ Evin Acosta as ‘Sir Lancelot,’ and James Mitchell as ‘King Pellinore.’ In a dual turn as both ‘Merlyn’ and ‘Mordred,’ Jordan Radford makes his debut on the CCC stage. Also, debuting in multiple roles is Sarah Flenders, who plays ‘Nimue,’ the nymph who entraps ‘Merlyn.’ The wild and magical ‘Morgan Le Fey’ is portrayed by Janaye Poteat, and the cast is rounded out by Marco Cartwright, Derek Schaening, and Keo Zajchenko as a trio of noble knights, Joseph Potoeski as faithful squire to ‘Lancelot,’ and Raymond Bulkley, Amanda Clark, Nitasha Clinton, Mallery Gurnsey, Jessica Malone, Zachery Potter, Samantha Presler, Eric Thomas, and Veronica White, who make up the lords and ladies of Camelot, and the magical court of Morgan Le Fey.
